Hayatı
Kültür eleştirmeni olarak edebiyatta büyük etkisi oldu. Arnold, Rugby School'un tanınmış müdürü Thomas Arnold'un oğlu ve edebiyat profesörü Tom Arnold ve roman yazarı William Delafield Arnold kardeşiydi.
